"...The most imortant thing I learned is this thing that is still surprising when I tell other people, which is, that as you improve health in a society, population growth goes down."

Container Arrives For Haiti Earthquake Victims

February 11th, 2010

Injured Child in Port Au Prince.

The emergency container arrived in Santo Domingo and is in transport to Port Au Prince.  The Watson Children’s Foundation sent a disaster relief container for the victims of the earthquake to Haiti.  These containers have medicines and supplies to treat 10,000 people for 90 days.  We continue to pray for the poor people in Haiti.  The Watson Foundation supplies three different organizatins in Haiti with medicines for needy children every year.  These three organizations were very blessed, none of the children were badly injured from the earthquake.  These organizations are not directly in Port Au Prince.  New Life Children’s Home, Missions of Love and World Harvest Missions, our Haiti organizations, are working hard and helping in Port Au Prince and helping the sick and injured at their locations also.  Please pray for poor little Haiti and the needy children.

Essential medicines to help needy children

The Lucress Watson and Dick Watson Children's Foundation is dedicated to bringing essential medicines and supplies to the very poorest needy children in the world.

We've created a remarkable, cost-efficient program to deliver health care through local organizations to some of the most remote places on earth, so that more needy children can grow up in good health.

Our goal ...

Our goal is to help needy children by bringing a steady supply of essential medicines to children who don't have ready access to modern medical care -- needy kids who live in extremely remote rural areas.
